Parcours d'Artistes: my first exhibit

Hi lovely peeps!
The pressure is rising here in my studio, as I'm getting my encaustic paintings ready for my very first exhibit: Parcours d'Artistes. This will take place the weekend of September 13th and 14th, here in our village Ramillies. I'm really looking forward to it. There will be 4 artists in total exposing in the same place (but there are several places and so much to see!) and I sure hope we will have some time to exchange ideas and thoughts about arting. But I'm also looking forward to meet our visitors, which you could be one of if you're in the area ;)))

Je me réjouis!

One of the best parts of this edition of the Parcours d'Artistes is that I will be exposing alongside my dad, who is a sculptor. Isn't hat just amazing, exhibing with my dad? I'll show you some of my paintings later on, because first, I would like to show you this art piece, by my dad: Sunset.

So come by say hello in Ramillies (we're at point K on the map), we will have the coffee, tea and wine ready for you! See you there!

  3. What a wonderful opportunity for you, France, and for your father, as well. He must be as proud as you are about participating in this exhibit together. I do recall that your father has been a great artful influence in your life, but didn't know (or, perhaps, remember) that he is a sculpture! His piece here is absolutely wonderful! Good luck and take lots of photos for those of us who cannot travel quite so far!
