Journal on Monday: week 98

Hi lovely JoMers!
This is a special edition JoM, as I combined it with the new challenge we're having up on the Mixed Media Place blog. It's also the penultimate JoM before the 100th episode! More info on the 100th celebration (with the date!!) at the end of this post.
But first: today's JoM: the challenge on the Mixed Media Place blog is to be inspired by George Michael's 'Freedom' music video. I watched the music video several times and looked up the meaning of the song: why did George write this song, what did he want to say?
I let it all sink in for a moment and the thing that came back to mind every time I thought about it, were the explosions in the video!
So I picked colors reminding me those explosions :)))

The video.   La vidéo.

See you on the Mixed Media Place blog for more inspiration by my super talented design team colleagues! As for the 100th Journal on Monday celebration: it will start on August 4th and go on for a whole week. Like I mentioned before, I'm counting on you all to share an art journaling process. Remember it's not about making an impression if that's holding you back, it's about sharing. And all those sharing will be in for the prizes. Just saying! Only 2 more weeks till the party!!

  4. Another great page France...and just in time! I just received my stampotique order from you. I got the block of stamps and the coffee cups rings. Now, I'm all set to go! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these tutorials. For those of us teaching ourselves about this particular genre, it's an immense help as you explain about the colors, textures, etc.

  9. This is beautiful France. I must save my money and get pan pastels. I have used mostly pencils and inks up until now. My mother is dying and I am caring for her right now. Natural but sad part of life. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful your videos lift me up.They carry me away to wonderment.
