Calm: a Mixed Media Place challenge

Hi sweet butterflies!
Exciting times are upon us! Today is the day that i get to share my very first offering as Mixed Media Place design team member. And not only that, but i'm doing so in company of the whole team!
Yes, the brand new Mixed Media Place challenge is launched: What are you feeling. And for this first one, we want you to feel 'Calm' :)))

Coucou les doux papillons!
Quel moment excitant!

This art journaling page is based on a photo that reminds me of a sheer calm moment, looking at it dives me back into that feel. I played in my Finnabair Mixed Media Journal on 7Dots Studio Paper. After dripping some Ecoline, I applied modeling paste over the Harlequin stencil and colorized it with PanPastel.

Hop over to the Mixed Media Place blog for some wonderful inspiration from my super talented team mates. I doubt you can resist all that inspiration, so i'm looking forward to see you Calm creation on the MMP blog!

  6. Hey, France! Before I forget AGAIN, I want to tell you how much I am enjoying the fact that you create in the "large," then cut your artwork in half to fit in your beautiful journal! Totally brilliant! And, congrats again on being on the DT for Mixed Media Place (promise to check it out)! I am a vintage aficionada, for sure, so this journal spread definitely appeals to me! I love creating things that conger up a feeling or memory in me, so I know this one is special to you. Off to check out CALM!
