Journal on Monday: week 55

Hi all!
I hope your week started out well! Here's how mine started:

Coucou!
J'espère que votre semaine a bien commencée! Voici comment la mienne a démarré:

The video.   La vidéo.

I've been playing in my new handmade journal for the first time. The model of the journal is based on a tutorial by Jenniebellie (luuuuuurve her work!). As i was looking for a way that would allow me to use more dimensional stuff without loosing the 'book' look, Jenniebellie's 'Cereal Box Journal' seems a good answer to my quest.

  3. Didn't get a chance to watch the video until Monday afternoon--but I kept getting anxious as I knew it was waiting for me! And, France, you did not disappoint! Another great tutorial for me to ponder. I love, love, love the idea of the picture frame. It really commands center stage on the page, yet has a great supporting cast! You do inspire me so, and that makes me happy!

  5. Each layer, although often subtle, adds so much to your page. Love the dimensional frame with the pumice stone...very cool effect. The heart looks amazing with your stamp and then the alcohol ink. Your tutorials are always such a treat. Thanks so much for taking all the time and effort to make them.

  7. Hi France,
Thanks for letting us see your gorgeous journalling process - a treat to watch & enjoy. Your steps are always brilliant to watch and learn from and result in such a wonderful richly layered backgrounds.

I'm a big fan of 'Jenniebelle' too & have made a few recycled box style art journals using her her fab idea. They are such fun to make and even more fun to journal in.
I love love love the vibrancy of the Colorex inks, they are going on this year's Birthday Wish List !!! LOL.
I am sooo looking forward to next week's video as I'm sure it will be inspiring too.

Hope that you have a great week,
    Warmest best wishes,
