Journal on Monday: week 48

Hi all!
Yeah, i'm back! :))) A huuuuuuuge thank you, all of you, for your sweet words and your wishes for a speedy recovery, here, on facebook, via email and even via hand made cards! I'm touched and feel surrounded by you all. You Ladies rock!!!
I got back in my studio yesterday and after two weeks of restraint order, my head was buzing with mojo overload. So it's back to a real journal on Monday! Get yourself a cappuccino, it's an XXL vido!! Enjoy :)

Coucou!
Bon amusement :)

The video.  La vidéo.

The list of ingredients shows how crazy i went using as much stash as i could! And this being the last page of this journal, i love the inclusion of the photo in this page even more: it was taken exactly one year ago!
Feel free to let me know you came by, you know how much i love to read you all!! :)))

Edit: while this video was loading, my YouTube channel hit 1000 subscribers! Squeeeeeeaaaal!! doing a crazy bunny dance to thank you all! Oh and prepping a giveaway, yeah!!

  1. Fabulous comeback page! I so enjoy watching your process. I learn so much and get such pleasure from the journey. The colours and layers on this page are amazing as is your attention to detail. All of the little touches of shading and stamping texture add such richness to the background. I love that clock. It's so cool and the picture peeking through is a delight. Welcome back and congrats on the milestone.

Concrete cream is a very smooth mat paint, that gives a concrete like finish, without the grit. i added modeling paste to use it as a layer with dimension.

  19. Good Evening, France! I discovered you through Pinterest and have enjoyed watching your videos and reading your blog. Concrete Cream is something I've never heard of before. Does it have the texture of concrete, with grit? I'm interested in finding some of that! I can see you are a fellow Tim Holtz enthusiast, do you have a favorite embellishment? Love his stuff. Thanks for being an inspiration!

I don't have a favorite Tim Holtz embellishment, but i do like to play with the metals from his idea-ology collection ;)

Had a couple of "oh she's brillant moments" - paste the paper AND then put on the filmstrip...I was like DUH. The clock is goregous...it was just so cool to watch you create something! I know what I'll be doing for my next several lunch hours! Thanks.
