Journal on Monday: week 47

Hi all!
A new spread for a new week. But no video today: with hubby in Japan and the kiddos at home, getting the camera to roll would have been a bit of a mission impossible. It was great fun making the spread though, as i had really good company in my studio:

Coucou!

My kiddos love PanPastels and they know exactly how to handle them. Watching them express themselves inspired me:

I played with Modeling paste, PanPastel and Bindex on a base of Gesso and Colorex. I absolutely love the texture and the bold colors! Of course, when the kiddos saw me enjoying myself with all those yummy toys, they wanted to play along!

They could do whatever they wanted, but they felt safer copying. It was nevertheless great watching them going! So, who else out there, crafts with kiddos, grandkiddos, godkiddos... ?

  3. Oh, France, this is so vibrant and beautiful! I just cannot get over how you rock out on the pan pastels. And what a wonderful art date you had with your kids! Mine used to scrapbook with me but not anymore. I take comfort in the fact they still make art on their own, however. They like to draw. Maybe I should set up my pastels and tempt them back in the studio!

  4. Gorgeous France! I did a lot of "coloring" with my kids when they were little! I didnt have too many "accessories" back then LOL The 4 of them are older now with the baby in college but they love what I do :) I loved "snow days" with my kids and really missed them at school. Your pages here are bursting with color- Love them! hugs!
