I had a great time yesterday playing with... circles! That's the subject of the latest Second Floor challenge by Nathaly Kalbach and Julie Fei-Fan Balzer.
Coucou!
Journaling: 'What goes around comes around.'
A couple of pictures of the making of... on all of the 4 layers of acrylic paint, i played with circles: using water as a resist, scraping, stamping, applying molding paste over a circle mask and applying paint over a punchanella. Awesome fun!
Go and give it a try, let it take you out of your comfort zone and enjoy the ride! But before you do that: i'd love to know you came by :)))
RépondreSupprimerWoww your site is awesome!, I love the way you've played with circles and those labels, the idea of time with the clock and the colors you used, great.

Love the colors and the swirls and circles. Wonderful design!
RépondreSupprimerTres belle! J'adore les pages avec le cercles!!
RépondreSupprimerLove your use of colour & the depth you get with the layering of stencils. I have yet to journal as I had wondered what the fuss was all about but your work has made me reconsider that viewpoint.
RépondreSupprimerIf I can manage the time & energy it would be a more relaxing creative experience. I tend toward perfectionism and, since what I physically produce falls short of my expectations, I tend not to put paint to paper/canvas. I'm also in the middle of Julie Fei-Fan Balzer's free stencilling course & that's providing an added incentive to play more with paint.
